I have had oily skin since I was about 13. Since then I've had acne prone/oily skin combo skin. When I say I have oily skin, I mean I have REALLY oily skin. My makeup would not last 3 years before going oily. I have found that these 6 products have really helped me combat oily skin!

#1: Clinique dramatically different Gel moisturizer

After, I wash my face with my Clinique oily skin liquid soap, I tone using #4 toner from Clinique then I apply a thin layer of this all over my face creating a perfect canvas for your makeup!

Honestly guys, I don't know if the percent's are true but I do love this product and have seen a noticeable difference in the way my makeup sits and lasts. My skin itself looks the greatest its ever looked. I use this after I apply my moisturizer and just spray it about 6 times and your skin is good to go to apply any other skin primer. (My favorite: Makeup Forever step 1 prime in mattifying)

With a damp beauty sponge, dip into the loose powder and set all the areas that get oily. This is almost like "baking" the oily areas to prevent the oils from coming through. Leave on for about 2 minutes then dust away extra powder! I have found that using this technique definitely makes my makeup last longer.

NYX soft matte lip creams !

Hey dolls!☺ so last night I was thinking about what is my go too lippie for my everyday makeup routine  and I realized that I've been reaching towards my NYX soft matte lip creams in 'London London' for more of a real nude lip and 'Stockholm' for more of a pinky nudey my lips but better look. So in love with these seriously because first of all they

Go on so smoothly, like straight butta , they last for more then 6 hours easily. 

My favorite thing about them is they are CRUELTY FREE so you know they are not testing on cute little animals (:

They are 0.27 fl. oz so theres plently in the tube at least in my opinion.

I usually use 2 coats and im good to go, nice full color pay off! 

So far I've purchased mine at my local Target and CVS.

Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Pallet

Hello my beauty lovers! Today's review is going to be on the KatVon D Shade and Light Contour Pallet. I have no idea where to even start, so it took be a good month to actually get my hands on this product because it was either sold out or wasn't carried at the store. Finally, at my local Sephora they had it back and stock and well i had t get it. So the first thing that caught my attention was the packaging because it is so sleek and has a mixture of glossy and matte accents on the pallet. Now I am about a Mac NC 25, Loreal Inffaliable pro matte foundation in 103 and usually in the light/medium range. This pallet is amazing for all skin colors. It comes with 3 different light matte highlights and 3 contour/bronzer shades. The first contour shade on the bottom left is more of a cooled toned shade which is better for light to fair skin gals and also for subtle nose contouring. The other 2 shades (shadow play and subconcious) are great to darken up the contour and to further bronze the face. Starting from the left top hand side the first color is a light pinky nudy color in the color (Lucid) I tend to use this one to clean up under my contour to get the clean line, the middle shade is a yellow beige color (Lyric) which is PERFECT for that bright undereye look. This has been my go to undereye setting powder, it is so finely milled that it leaved that airbrush loosh. The last highlightinh shade is a soft peach color (levitation). I personally have not used this color but my sister who is darker than me loves to use it to highlight and define. Overall this is a great palette to pick up for those who want to start highlighting and contouring.

Also. some tips that I like to use to set my under eye is by using your dry beauty blender and using it in a patting motion and setting the product or ill take my RT contour brush and dust it all over the under eye almost using the baking method.

Hey lovies ! So yesterday while I was about to do my hair I decided I was tired of the ugly brassy brown hair with serious root regrowth I had. I went into my cabinet and took out my all time favorite hair color which is Loreal Prefrence 5.26 Lush Cherry (Base:Violet) It seriously is such a gorgeous color. My hair looks darker with like redish purple tint to it. When I go out in the sun it is a beautiful burgandy purple color. I always get many compliments and questions about what color it is so here it is! I usually dye my hair every 3 months or so. Here are the steps I took to achieve this hair color:

- I had 3rd day hair so that way my natural hair oils could protect my scalp a bit
- I brushed it out very well and sectioned it into 4 sections
- I put vasaline all around my hair line, neck and ears
- I put on an old t-shirt that I did not mind getting dirty
- I mixed in the hair dye which was 2 fld oz with equal parts of 20 volume developer
- I started not on my roots but from my ends working my way up and leaving my roots alone
- When all of the hair was covered I went ahead and did my roots last
( I did this because my roots were darker then the rest of my hair and I wanted the lighter parts to really grab the color and also because my roots would grab the color easier since it was fresh regrowth)
- When all of my hair was saturated I went ahead and put my hair in a bun and put a shower cap on

After 45 minutes of leaving the dye in my hair I went ahead and rinsed out my hair with luke warm water until the water ran almost clear then I went ahead and used Ion Color Defense Intense Moisture Conditioner left it on for 10 minutes then rinsed out my hair with cold water. I wrapped it up in a towel for about 10 minutes then let it down and put some Argan oil on the ends of my hair and let it air dry. Then I styled it as desired.

**FYI: I've been dying my hair since 8th grade and now i'm in my second year of college. I have done many things to my hair including bleaching over 5 times and going red then blue and even purple so I am completely comfortable with doing my own hair.

My top 3 full coverage foundations & oil control !

Hey dolls! So here are my top 3 all time favorite full coverage foundations. I have really oily acne prone skin and also acne scaring. I tend to use more full coverage foundations because of my acne and I have found that these 3 work amazing together and seperate. I reccomend these foundations for anyone who has oily skin, acne prone skin/scaring and or like full coverage foundations.

My color is in NC 30.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation: All-in-one foundation with a long-lasting formula that fuses primer, concealer, and foundation in one easy step! The 3-in-1 formula provides a flawless look that lasts all day long. SPF 20. My color is in 840 Natural beige.

Out of all 3 foundations my daily use one would be Mac studio fix because it is more of a liquidy substance compared to the Kat von d and the Covergirl 3 in 1 that are more thicker formula. On the days where I want my skin to look super flawless then I use the Kat von d or the Covergirl 3 in 1. In my opinion, these 3 foundations are great for keeping me matte all day and covering up all of my acne. On days where I want to wear more of a "lightweight" foundation I mix any of these foundations with moisturizer so i can get more of a tinted moisturizer. 

Clean & Clear morning burst hydrating face wash & gel moisturizer !

Hey my lovies! So for the past 2 months now I have been using the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating face wash and gel moisturizer. At first, I was a little unsure if I was going to like both products since it is a hydrating product and I have extremely oily skin. The first night I only tried the face wash and I really did like it. For starters it took all my makeup off and it left my face super soft, not dry at all. The morrning after, my face was not oily at all and it was soft and hydrated. In the morning I used the gel moisturizer, it soaked into my skin super fast and it left my skin again very soft. I went ahead and did house chores and after about 2 hours came back to do my makeup and my skin was not oily at all and it felt great. Also, it kept my skin fairly matte through out he day which is good because not very many products do the job. Now, two months later these are my two holy grail skin routine prouducts. I defenitly recommend these two products for anyone who has oily skin or even dry skin. 

The face wash: It's formulated with water, not oil, and contains a unique blend of cucumber and green mango extracts. You get a deep clean while refreshing your skin with an added touch of moisture. Won't clog pores either!
